Access and capacity
The vacation home is suitable for a maximum of 16 people. Up to 12 people can stay in Vill-a-chill and up to 4 people in Vill-a-rôme. Only the guests listed on the guest list are allowed.
Check-in/out
Arrival is scheduled between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Departure is scheduled for 10:00 AM. Exceptions must always be discussed in advance.
In the absence of the host or hostess, a code will be provided to open the vacation home. The host or hostess will then personally provide the necessary information. Cars can be parked in the designated parking spaces: a maximum of 10 cars on site.
The possible settlement of the honesty bar or other costs can be made the evening before, if desired.
What to do for Check-out
Bed linen and bath linen may be left in the linen basket on the day of departure. Please do not remove mattress protectors and pillow protectors. For Vill-a-chill, it is possible to collect bed and bath linen in the storage room by the washing machine. For Vill-a-rôme, it can be placed in the kitchen in front of the washing machine.
Trash bins from bathrooms, toilets, and the kitchen should be emptied by the guests. Waste must be sorted into the designated trash bins. These are located in the parking area in the corner under the tree.
The dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer must be emptied and left clean. The coffee maker should be cleaned, and the remains of coffee pods should be thrown away.
The gas fireplace will be turned off. BBQ and outdoor fireplace (if used) will be cleaned.
The house and the terrace will be left spotless and the furniture (including garden furniture) will be placed in the same location as it was upon arrival.
General house rules
Children must always be supervised by an adult and any accidents are the responsibility of the parents or guardian.
Smoking is not allowed. Smoking is only permitted in the parking area using the designated ashtrays.
Pets are not allowed for hygienic reasons.
In the interest of the environment, we greatly appreciate conscious use of water, electricity, and gas. Feel free to enjoy all the facilities, but when you go out, heating and lighting can be turned off.
Parties and bachelor parties are prohibited. The use of narcotics is not allowed.
Report any irregularities immediately at the beginning of your stay so that you are not held liable at the end of your stay. Report any damage at the end of your stay so that the owner can prepare the house for the next guests.
Do not flush anything other than water down the sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen to prevent blockages. Hair dyeing and the use of corrosive products in the showers or bath are prohibited.
In the toilet, there are containers for collecting personal hygiene products, diapers, wet wipes, etc. These should not be flushed down the toilet to prevent clogging.
The use of a deep fryer is not permitted due to fire risk. An air fryer is provided as an alternative.
The owner has the right to enter the property at any time during the stay for technical inspections. The tenant will be notified in advance.
The owner is not responsible for theft or loss of personal belongings during the stay. The tenant is responsible for properly securing the property. In case of theft, the owner will be notified as soon as possible.
The tenant agrees that he is personally responsible for the proper use of the facilities. The tenant is therefore personally responsible for accidents, bodily injury, or property damage in the complex.
General garden rules
The peace of the neighbors must be respected. Silence in the garden and on the parking lot is required, especially after 9:00 PM.
To respect the peace of the neighborhood, it is not allowed to play soccer with hard balls. Please use the softballs that are provided.
A personal sound system is not allowed.
Campfires are prohibited on the property. At the designated outdoor fireplace, you may enjoy a cozy fire to your heart's content. Wood is located in the compartment under the fireplace on the terrace. A fee of €10 is charged per used compartment.
Fireworks are prohibited on the property.
Beautiful furniture has been provided, both indoors and outdoors. Please do not move furniture from inside to outside or vice versa.
Violations of the agreement
In case of (suspected) serious violations of the contract and the agreed terms, the owner has the right to have these established and to deny the tenant access without refunding the deposit.
What to do in case of damage
In case of damage to the facilities, the walls, the furniture and/or the complex, the costs of repair, cleaning and/or replacement will be charged to the tenant. If the damage is such that the property cannot be rented out for a certain period, an additional compensation will be charged amounting to the rent for each day that the property is not available for new tenants.
By entering into the rental agreement, this house rules document is deemed to have been read, understood, and accepted by the tenant. This acknowledgement cannot be disputed, as the rules are publicly available at http://www.de-kompanie.be, form part of the booking process, and are also available in printed form in the property.
